What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring a valid, government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or driver's license) and your vaccination records. Additionally, we recommend bringing your work authorization document with your A-Number, if available. If vaccination records are unavailable, we can conduct blood tests (titers) to verify immunity.

How long does the exam take?

The entire appointment takes about 45–60 minutes. All required lab work, including blood draw and urine test, is done in our clinic during your visit. Once we receive your lab results, we will finalize your paperwork.

When will I get my completed I-693 form?

Our standard turnaround time is one week or less after your appointment. We will call you as soon as your sealed envelope is ready for pickup.

Are lab tests and vaccines included in the price?

The required laboratory tests (TB, Syphilis, Gonorrhea) and any necessary vaccinations are separate from the base examination fee. Please note that insurance typically does not cover I-693 immigration medical examinations at any provider. Despite this industry standard, we strive to maintain competitive and transparent pricing for all our services.

What if I need vaccinations?

We will review your vaccination history. If any vaccines are required by USCIS, we can administer them at our clinic during your visit for an additional fee. You can see vaccine prices on our pricing page.

Why would I need additional vaccines?

Accepted Answer

USCIS requires proof of immunity for certain diseases. If your vaccination records are incomplete or a blood test (titer) shows you are not immune, you will need to receive the required vaccines before we can complete your I-693 form.

What is a blood titer test?

Accepted Answer

A titer is a blood test that measures the level of antibodies in your blood to determine if you are immune to a specific disease. We may order titers if you do not have proof of vaccination for MMR, Varicella, or Hepatitis B.

What if my TB test is positive?

Accepted Answer

A positive TB test does not mean you have active tuberculosis. It often indicates a past exposure or a latent TB infection. If your initial test is positive, USCIS requires a chest X-ray to rule out active TB. The cost of the chest X-ray is not included in our standard fee.
